Stray Blade is a third person, action-adventure sword fighting game where you play a rogue adventurer exploring the ancient Valley of Acrea with your companion developed by Point Blank Games UG.
I started as an VFX intern and got promoted to the only Technical Artist after three months. It was developed in Unreal Engine 4.
Responsibilities
• Mainly performance on PC, XBOX and PS5
• Workflow research and development, writing documentation and giving workshops
• Supported the art Department with solving issues and asset implementation
• Handled and resolved most common bug tickets
• Keeper of folder structure and naming convention guidelines.
• Shader and more complex materials, like landscape and water shaders
Software Experience
• Unreal 4.27.2 in combination with Unreal Insights, Unreal’s Water Plugin
• Target Manager for PS5 DEVKIT and XBOX Manager GDK for the XBOX DEVKIT
